Good Shepherd Sunday - Mental Health Programs

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois

Good Shepherd Sunday
May 12, 2019

Make a difference this Easter season and please consider supporting LSSI’s work by fundraising for our Mental Health Services.

A generous donor has provided a matching gift up to $5,000, meaning that your fundraising efforts will be doubled!

LSSI offers accessible mental health services at its programs throughout the Chicago area, including Screening Assessment and Support Services which provide crisis intervention and follow-up mental health for children on Chicago’s Northwest side, and  LSSI’s Step Up School-Based Counseling embedded in 20 Chicago Public Schools. Last year, LSSI served 7,989 adults experiencing a mental health crisis through its Project Impact sites, and served 5,838 clients through its alcohol and drug treatment programs.

Every gift makes a difference!

If you fundraise  $500, you can provide 10 children with critical mental health crisis services through LSSI’s Screening, Assessment & Support Services program. $2,500 fundraised can provide 17 hours of mental health services for uninsured individuals at LSSI’s Welcoming Center.

Select the 'Start Fundraising' button to get started and create your own page to share with friends and family. Your fundraising will help bring healing, justice and wholeness to people and communities. Thank you for your generosity and support this Easter season!
